Plasma desktop environment on the way

KDE should be announcing the next major release of Plasma desktop environment and is spending the last week before the release focusing on "better default settings" and "improve the UX out of the box."

News buried as GNOMEs triumph

Red Hat appears to have used the news of its takeover by IBM to bury the news that it was killing off KDE.

Not sure why it was there in the first place
