Powercolor teases another custom HD 7970
Most probably PCS+ series
In addition to the recently pixellized Powercolor HD 7970 Vortex that we wrote about here, it appears that Powercolor is preparing yet another custom HD 7970 card that will most likely end up to be a part of the PCS+ series.
Due to the angle of the photo there is not much to say about the card but the cooler looks a lot like the one previously seen on the HD 7950 PCS+ card except for what appears to be a bit beefier heatpipes. It is a dual slot cooler with two fans and what appears to be three heatpipes.
Of course, Powercolor recently showed both the Vortex Edition as well as its liquid cooled HD 7970 LCS card that are yet to appear in retail/e-tail. To be fair, custom cooled HD 7970 are currently quite rare, except for XFX's dual-fan cards. Asus has two cards that are listed but still not available and it is same situation with Gigabyte's triple-fan Windforce HD 7970.
